Closer Look : Pogba Returns to Pogback Boots

Paul Pogba has returned to his special-edition 'Pogback' Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl boots for tonight's Europa League game against Fenerbahce.

Originally unveiled for the Manchester derby last month and celebrating Pogba's transfer back to Manchester United, the Pogback cleats are based on the Viper Pack Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl . They feature a scales print inspired by snake skin, while splashes of red have been added to Pogba's very own take on the shoe alongside a 'Pogback' writing on the heel tab.

Whereas their initial debut against Manchester City didn't go to well, they seem fit for the Europa League stage as Pogba enjoyed a good game against Turkish side Fenerbahce.

The Black / White / Gold Adidas X PureChaos 16.1 Stellar Pack Kangaroo leather boot will be released on September 30, 2016, and retails at the same price as all other versions of the cutting-edge leather cleat.

White Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Neymar x Jordan 2016-2017 Boots

Following up on the initial release earlier this summer, Nike unveiled another soccer cleat as part of the ongoing collaboration between Neymar and the Jordan Brand shortly. Predominantly white, the new Neymar x Jordan Nike Hypervenom Phantom II football boots are set to be released sometime this month.

Nike first introduced the collaboration between FC Barcelona superstar Neymar with Air Jordan in June with the lunch of a special-edition Nike Hypervenom football boot that was worn by the Brazil number 10 during the Olympics. The collaboration also included other items inducing a football, t-shirts and, most notably, a Neymar-designed Air Jordan 5 Low.

The second iteration of the Air Jordan x Neymar football boots takes the unique and interesting design of the first release, but swaps the black for white, while also adjusting other parts of the cleat. The white base of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Neymar x Jordan soccer boots is combined with a very bright orange, used for all brandings, the sole plate and the zig-zag pattern on the outstep.

Last but not least, the iconic Jumpman logo is stitched onto the heel of the Nike Hypervenom Jordan x Neymar cleats, while Michael Jordan and Neymar's shirt numbers are printed on the heel of the right and left shoe to pay homage to the two sports stars. The large Swoosh at the front of the white Nike Hypervenom Neymar x Jordan boots, as well as the Dynamic Fit collar, are light grey.

Tech-wise, the upper of the Air Jordan Neymar football boots, although based on NikeSkin tech, features a completely different structure than the standard Hypervenoms. The trademark Flywire strings of the second-gen Hypervenom cleats are present in the Nike Hypervenom Air Jordan Neymar boots which are the first-ever football boots bearing the logo of the Jordan Brand.

Adidas Messi 2016-2017 Space Dust Boots Available

The third colorway of the new Adidas Messi 16.1 football boots introduces a bold and eye-catching design to be worn exclusively by the Argentina and FC Barcelona superstar.

Adidas unveiled the Adidas Messi 15.1, the Three Stripes' first-ever soccer boot silo exclusive to one player, in summer 2015. A year later, the brand reveals the second generation of the model, the Adidas Messi 16.

ADIDAS MESSI 16.1 SPACE DUST - DARK GREY / SILVER METALLIC / SOLAR GREEN
This is the Adidas Messi 2016-17 cleats in black and green from the Space Dust collection.

Dubbed the Space Dust edition, the third Adidas Messi 16.1 football boots feature an eye-catching gradient that goes from a very dark grey at the top towards a striking green at the bottom. The iconic Adidas stripes on the outside heel, are colored in Silver Metallic.

Other brandings, such as the Adidas Performance logo at the heel are green, while the dark grey upper also includes a subtle spray pattern in green, and the sole plate of the Adidas Messi Space Dust boots is entirely of the eye-catching green color.

Tech-wise, the black and green Adidas Messi 16.1 Space Dust soccer cleats come with the same specifications as the previous two editions, launched for the Copa America and the start of the 2016-17 season, respectively. They have a textile Agilityknit upper and combine it with a traditional, low-cut ankle design.

Not only has the "MessiCage" of the first generation Adidas Messi cleats been removed, the second-generation Adidas Messi 2016-17 boots also come with a redesigned sole plate and stud configuration.
