'Black / Metallic Gold' Nike Flyknit Ultra Boots Released

Nike's all-new Flyknit Ultra boot was revealed  in two colorways - a quite understated black and metallic silver one and another one that combines a black base with gold details, set to be worn exclusively by Eden Hazard.

On seeing the lightweight Nike Mercurial Ultra Flyknit Vapor for the first time, Hazard saw new potential. “I said ‘Wow!' because I think they look great and they are perfect for my style of football. I think these boots are special." And despite his early career successes, Hazard still has big plans for the coming season. "I want to win many trophies and maybe even the Ballon d´Or. That would be great."

Predominantly black, this colorway, one of two to debut the brand-new Nike football boot model, features and outlined 'Metallic Gold' Swoosh on the side and a gold-metallic sole plate. An understated 'Flyknit Ultra' logo is embossed on the outstep of the model, which is the first all-Flyknit low-cut Mercurial cleat. The heel tab shows a 'Mercurial' writing alongside the Italian flag.

In terms of features, the Nike Flyknit Ultra cleats are a preview of what's to come for the 2018 World Cup in the form of the low-cut Flyknit Mercurial Vapor 12 Elite.

The black and gold Nike Flyknit Ultra football boots have a one-piece Flyknit upper with a low-cut construction and horizontal ridges, similar to Mercurial Vapor 11 and Superfly 5. The boot sits on the outsole known from the current version of the Mercurial, which includes mostly chevron-shaped studs.
